About the Event
*Meet under the pavilion, and we will head down the Azalea Trail to Hurricane Creek.
Join TCA to clean up Hurricane Creek and help protect wildlife. Hurricane Creek winds throughout Lufkin, making its way into the Neches River and eventually the Gulf of Mexico. Litter pollution negatively impacts wildlife in many ecosystems on that journey to the ocean. Some animals mistake trash for food, and others get entangled in fishing line and other debris. We can help provide a safer environment for wildlife by removing as much of this litter as we possibly can. So come on out and join us! You will not only be protecting our East Texas wildlife but some of our state’s coastal and marine wildlife as well.
