About the Event

Join TCA and the City of Cedar Hill  Cedar Hill Parks & Rec Department on Saturday, April 13th from 8 am-12 as we celebrate Cedar Hill Beautification Day. The City of Cedar Hill is a certified Bird City in Texas and is dedicated to providing suitable habitats for birds, pollinators, and wildlife by using and encouraging native plants.  Your involvement will contribute to creating a habitat that supports wildlife. 

Participants will be bending over, digging in the dirt, planting plants and walking up to a mile on a concrete trail. We recommend wearing long pants, long shirt, hat, gloves and bring water.There will be a light breakfast available starting at 8:00am. Volunteers for the native plant event need to be checked in no later than 8:45am. We will start promptly at 9:00am. Children under the age of 17 are welcome to participate but must be accompianed with an adult during the event.
