Take Action. Protect Pollinators with TCA at the Lufkin Butterfly Volunteer Garden

Join TCA at the Lufkin Urban Garden & Market on Saturday, November 18, to restore pollinator habitat at the Lufkin Butterfly Volunteer Garden. Volunteers will help with various tasks from removing weeds to planting new native flowers. Native plants require less water and no artificial fertilizers to thrive. We had a very dry summer with record-breaking temperatures, yet many of the plants we added in April are still thriving! Native plants also provide food and shelter for butterflies, bees, and birds and are essential to their survival. Come on out and join TCA and the kind folks at the Lufkin Urban Garden & Market for a morning restoring this pollinator garden so we can support local wildlife and bring greener spaces to our community.
