About the Event
Join TCA and the students of Pineywoods Community Academy on Earth Day - Saturday, April 22, to restore pollinator habitat at Grace Dunne Richardson Park. Volunteers will help plant native perennials and annuals in the new pollinator garden near the entrance to the Azalea Trail. Native plants require less water and no artificial fertilizers to thrive. They also provide vital food and shelter for butterflies, bees, and birds, and are essential to their survival. So come on out and join us for a meaningful morning outdoors as we beautify our parks while restoring habitat for pollinators and other wildlife!
