About the Event
Join TCA and Lick Creek Park in College Station, Texas to pull out non-native invasive plants from demonstration gardens and establish new native plant species that will help build a native seed bank for the community. Lick Creek Park is over 500 acres of forested area that is open to the public for appreciation of native plant and animal species as well as recreational use. This park is pivotal in growing public awareness of native species to promote healthy and sustainable gardening practices and respecting wildlife. Join us on November 10th from 1:30-3:30 PM to build seed banks for the community and future generations to come. Please dress accordingly. Bring gloves, a hat, a reusable water bottle, close-toed shoes, and if you have any, your favorite garden tools. Tools, gloves, and water will also be provided by TCA and Lick Creek.
Please note that liability waivers for TCA and for the City of College Station should be completed before the day of the event. Links for both will be sent in a confirmation email, and are also available below:
