About the Event
Join TCA & Texas Master Naturalists in collecting and processing seeds from native prairie plants and removing old biomass to create healthier prairie habitat for our pollinators and other wildlife at Green Acres Farm Memorial Park.
Once a family-owned farm used largely for boarding and selling horses, the 13-acre property is now a public park. Texas Master Naturalists and volunteers manage projects on the farm to restore native prairie and riparian habitats, provide shelter for birds, and to ensure that the space is accessible and enjoyable for its visitors.
