About the Event
Removing litter from nature preserves as well as roadsides helps to restore natural habitats by preventing harmful materials from polluting ecosystems and from wildlife ingesting it.
Join TCA in removing harmful litter along Mingo Road. Your efforts will contribute to making a lasting, positive impact to wildlife and the Denton community.
Please Note: There are no restrooms along the route.
Caution: There will be vehicular traffic passing by during the event. Volunteers will be cleaning up litter in the areas alongside and adjacent to the road. Volunteers will be given safety vests to wear during the event.
What to Bring: Don't forget your own water, we'll provide snacks and all supplies. Please dress according to the weather.
Parking: Please park in the parking lot located at 509 N Bell Ave, Denton, TX 76209, USA. See map at the link below:
Note: Volunteers will need to RSVP here and will need to fill out an additional waiver issued by City of Denton Parks and Recreation. (This waiver will be emailed to volunteers following their RSVP on TCA's events page. This email may be sent a few days after the RSVP.)
