About the Event
TCA has partnered with TPWD's Texas Outdoor Family to provide camping workshops in Texas State Parks.
Learn essential camping skills and enjoy Ranger-led outdoor activities! During the workshop, participants will learn skills like tent set-up, outdoor cooking, and fire building. Campers are also invited, but not required, to join us kayaking in the afternoon.
Saturday, Apr. 26th
9:30 AM - Registration
10:00 AM - TOF welcome and introductions
10:45 AM - 12:00 PM - Tent set-up and stove instructions
12:00 - 1:00 PM - Lunch provided by TCA
1 - 1:30 - Break
1:45 - 2:10 Kayak safety and instruction
2:15 - 4:15 - Kayaking
4:15 - Head back to camp
5:15 - 6:30 - Building a campfire & dinner (Campers will need to prepare or bring their own dinner)
7:30 - 8:30 - optional group activity
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM - Quiet time
Sunday, Apr. 27th
7:30 - 8:00 AM - breakfast on your own
8:00 AM - 8:30 AM breakdown camp
8:30 AM workshop graduation
11:00 All gear is returned. Campers may leave or continue to enjoy the park!

Campsite Ticket
One ticket purchase is good for one group up to 6 people, providing an overnight stay at one of the campsites in the park. Your ticket will be sent to the email address you provide on the registration form. Sales tax will be added at checkout.
