About the Event
Cooler months are coming, and billions of birds are too - they're flying south on migration to their winter homes. Join us for an insightful talk with Dr. Tania Homayoun, Texas Nature Trackers Biologist with Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Dr. Homayoun will share fascinating information about bird migration and how people can help save migratory birds with simple action. This fall, Texas Conservation Alliance is partnering with "Birdtober" - a daily art creation challenge to paint, draw, or sculpt a specific bird species every day during the month of October. Texas artist Andrea Holmes, creator of Birdtober, will join in to share more and how to get involved. RSVP today and tune in on September 30, 7-8 PM, to learn more about birds, migration, light pollution, and how you can take action and make the world a safer place for birds.
