Birds & Blooms at the Buckeye Trail

Join Trinity Coalition, North Texas Master Naturalist, City of Dallas and Texas Conservation Alliance on Saturday, October 19, for a morning of birding to observe migratory birds on their journey south. After birding, participate in a hands-on activity to plant native plants and milkweed to support birds and pollinators in the urban environment. Volunteers will help restore prairie habitats, protect wildlife, and enjoy a fun time outdoors.

Agenda:

• 8:30 - 9:45 am: Birding with Karen Carpenter (NTMN Member) and Heather Bullock (Lights Out, Dallas Assistant Coordinator)
• 9:45 - 10:00 am: Break
• 10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Planting native plants

Please note: Minors under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by a guardian.
